Dean,
Non turbo...original DIC. I'm sure it's not the ignition switch. Help me with the battery electrolyte, cables stuff...how would that randomly affect it? How do I verify the crankshaft posit. sensor's operability? I'll check the assorted distributor components, although I keep my engine compartment fairly detailed, and have not noticed any oil problems as yet.
My fiance says she can sometimes, recently, smell a "burned plastic-like" odor at start up. I haven't noticed, but her nose is probably better than mine (cuter anyway!). As I write this, it's seems more and more like the DIC?! Additional ideas?
