Just a few notes on this job

I made my earlier suggestion as one who have had a leaky distributor, and had just the day before purchased a new one from Europarts (I tried a junkyard distributor, and it leaked less, but it leaked). Well, I swapped in the new one today and am hoping that I will be leak free.
It is very easy to change. You can just pop off the cap so you don't lose the order of the wires. Then you might want to remove the transmission dipstick as it makes it much easier to access the bolt that holds the distributor in.
Note: the transmission tube comes all the way out, exposing the transmission fluid tank...be sure to clean all dirt and stuff from around the ase of the tube and in the general vicinity before removing the tube.
Other than that, it is just a pull out the old and stick in the new, with a little playing with it needed to get the end of the distributor to align.
Good luck.
