Yeah, that's too expensive to do any short OCIs. If it were me, I'd probably run a dual-rated oil (ACEA A3/B3, or even E3) for a normal syn length (10k miles at least) & change the filter once or twice during the run. Time isn't really a concern with something like M1 0W/5W-40 (or comparable Amsoil oils).
Can you get Amsoil products? Another choice would be Amsoil's engine flush. I don't know what makes it different or more desireable from any other "quick" flush product, but a lot of folks feel comfortable using this over any other. If you can't get ahold of A-Rx (or Schaefer Oil's Neutra), & still want a faster flush than just letting the oil do it on its own, this might be the way to go.
