Rob, thanks.... if that is the case the manual for the 95 model year is misleading. I wondered if the top was designed to operate manually to only 'cover up', but it clearly gives instructions while standing outside the car to lift the front end and then raise the back until you can lift the tonneau. I will revisist the manual of course and appreaciate the observation.
