I used the box end on the top 18mm bolt and the angle it sat out almost had it touching the brake fluid reservoir. I needed extra length to get the torque needed so I placed the box end 15mm around the open end of the 18mm wrench. This was about the only way I could get to work. The bottom nut 16mm is much easier (3/8 drive breaker bar, 16mm deep socket) but you have to go in from the bottom of the car.
You'll be happier with the metric set.
