Ouch, that sux. Prolly the easiest thing, as others mention is to get a beater, and have a little "vacation." Depending on how reliable a car you need, how much time/money you are prepared to spend, etc., you might look into an auto auction (that's where I got my '97 900 SE for $2200, BTW). You might look for a nice make, fairly high miles, with some crumples or cracked glass or something and come out for next to nothing. Or an older hi miles car in decent shape -- nobody seems to bid on '80s Saabs and Volvos ...
Another option, if you're really wanting to stick with your current car for the interim is to look into the fixtures made for people with disabilities. I knew a guy with some major deformities in his legs and he drove a car with levers hooked up so that he doesn't need to use his feet at all. You might be able to find something just for the clutch and still brake/gas w/ your right. Maybe even covered by insurance ???
