Richard, good news! This seems to be very similar to my problem... through ohm readings, I never seemed to verify that I had a crank sensor problem, but I have been running very good now for the past 3 weeks. I also swaped relays for the main relay ... since I had 2 bad start incidents since replacing the sensor. I have now had no problems. It could have been a combination of the two (as possibly yours was.. didn't you swap out your main relay as well?). Any theories on if both these things were needed, or do you feel it was just the crank sensor? Do you have the old crank sensor for a visual inspection? Any noticible buildup of metal filings? Just wondering.
