I have used the saabsite and eeuroparts for stuff. There are some stuff that these places sell competitively while other parts are dealer prices. You may want to try Goldwing SAAB, site sponsor, for other stuff. How much are you planning to spend? From what you have written, I take it that you got the tools/experience to do the job. Also, you may want to get your hands on some haynes manual or WIS. Just my $0.02 regarding your queries -
1) intercooler cracked or still good? May want to consider the viggen intercooler at saabsite.
2) might as well put in new hoses, ounce of prevention.
3) stick to oe for water pump.
4) check dealer for exhaust studs.
5) try to get the injectors cleaned and check saabsite for o-rings.
6) I think the standard rubber vacuum lines would work just fine; however, there are the silicone ones too, $$.
7) turbo charger gasket, check saabsite if cheaper, if not dealer.
8) i think the saab site has cam and crank seals.
9) might as well get a DI cassette. I think these fail at 100k or so.
10) do a BB search, use keywords of michel_mtl, goodyear, short belt
11) manifold cover? are those the ones that cover the valves. try gold wing saab and ask for a cover from a low-milage car. If not, go to saabsavior, i think i saw something in the site.
12) timing chain guide, get a new one for peace of mind.
Are the valves still ok or bent. Are you going to get the valves/head done? Black crud as in dried carbonized stuff, or is it sooty? If latter, then perhaps you can clean it yourself with a degreaser. If not, then try the folks in the machine shop, pressurized washer. If t-body is still good, then you can clean it. Is the turbo still ok, fins not bent or whatever? Go to perfromance BB for additional stuff. Try these post, they may be of help to you. good luck!
