Gina,
Do a search under Richard. You will find tons of info on cold start problem. The fuel pump relay is under the driver side knee bolster. You have to take the panel off which is held with several torx. when you look under the dash by the driver side knee bolster, you will see a white tray held with one torx. you can swing the box down and you will may relays in the tray. Search fuel pump relay and you will find that I drew a diagram on this one also.
You can hot wire, the fuel pump. open the fuse cover on the driver side ip. pull the interior light fuse (#4?)and fuel pump fuse(#17?). The interior light fuse is alway hot. Therefore, connect the top side of interior to the bottom side of the fuel pump with piece of wire or ohm meter and you should hear the pump running. Also search this and I have posted extensively on this.
good luck
Richard
