Well, took a look at the battery cables (they probably do need replacing) and charged the battery, but the car stalled again (4 more times). This time, the radio stayed on etc., but the car just died (twice) while I was driving (slowing down around a corner). The car started right up the first two times it stalled again. The third time it stalled, everything seemed to be trying to turn over but the car wouldn't start? It's a very intermittant issue. I'm afraid of the car dying so randomly again, but the shop ran a complete diagnostic and said everything was fine??? Of course they can't reproduce the problem and run the diagnostic while the problem is happening.
I don't think it's a battery problem, or is it (b/c the battery leads are in pretty crappy condition)? The car seems to have the power to start, but it just won't.
I'm not a mechanic Saab girl yet, but the way things are going, I'm going to become quite the expert. Any/all suggestions are much appreciated!
Could this be an ignition coil problem? Thanks.
