As much as I like the looks of the OE 17" rims, I think the 16" package will be more practical for the winter, what with the potholes in the best of roads in winter. By now we (Viggen owners) know how easily these rims bend. With the additional cushioning provided by the 16' rubber, rim damage would be minimized. Ours is a "fair weather" Viggen and will be garaged for the winter. My only experience with Toyos, was when they were first introduced in this country, about 13 years ago. They were absolute JUNK back then. Maybe they're making a quality product now? Have had good winter experience with Gislaved, Blizzak and Michelin Arctic Alpins. Just MHO.
