The $6K is a rebate to the Dealer from Saab, so it comes off the dealer invoice. In addition, if you are a curent Saab owner, I think there is another $1K available as a loyalty rebate. That means the dealer invoice for a 2000 Viggen with heated seats and prep and handling would be $28,585. That is the price you should be able to pay. You can almost always buy any Saab, any time of the year, at dealer invoice. The dealer then takes the 2.2% holdback as his profit.
