Oh yes they rattle indeed. I have a 99 9.3 HOT & I had some problems with rattles. In conversations with my service rep he said most of the rattles can be traced to the overhead dome light toward the rear of the car. I also had a few rattles in the speakers in the rear & in the drains for the rear hatch. They have all been corrected & the car is now as tight & rattle free as ever. Hope this helps.
