A couple of questions. So there will be a wire going from the preamp to the amp. This will carry all of output from the head unit to the amp, right? Then there will be a wire that runs from the amp to a crossover, and a wire that runs from the crossover to the mid/low in the door and another wire that runs from the crossover to the 3.5 in the dash, right? Or will there be a wire running from the amp for each one of these speakers to the crossover and then from the corssover to the respective speakers?
Additionally, there will be a power wire (with 60 amp fuse)running from the positive battery post to the amp and a ground wire from the amp attached somewhere on the frame/chasis of the car. Is this correct?
So would I just disconnect the existing speaker wire (for the doors and the dash) from the head unit and run these from the output of the amp? Sorry for all of the questions, I am just trying to get a good visualization of how this is going to look? the audio upgrade page is great but does leave some gaps.
