Happened to me once and the dealership repaired it for free. It would have cost me $640!!! (Thank you warranty).
I flipped through my papers and found out this:
The car was taken in for service on Sept 17 last year, so around 70 degrees is probably about right. More likely 95, but that's Texas for ya. They replaced part #s 5046214 (this is listed as they number for two parts, oddly). They call the parts "ACCONTROLPNL9" and "CORE CHG" They also said that they cause for the ACC display being dimmed was a "faulty output." Of course, this work was done at the now defunct Bankston Saab, so who knows what they really did!
