On a Saab, perhaps it's just following the footsteps of the 900-SPG.
A high end Saab at the time, nothing on it said fast, turbo, or special.
Though I have not debadged a car, I can understand someone wanting to
do so. I used to have a red Jaguar XJS and it had a great big chrome
V12 insignia on the back. People behind me would often holler, toot,
try to race, because of that. I almost took the letters off, but ended
up selling it for something else.
