Ah.
Well I have no goop on mine right now and it's time to change 'em out as I am getting 11.6 l/100km around town whereas with new plugs, I get 11.2 and better.
It's fairly easy to tell I need new plugs just through gas mileage. You can pay for the plugs in gas savings ($0.68 per liter right now...and this is for regular) and have a better-running car.
I hoped someone would come in with a solid tech-type answer to this poster. I recall the day I first changed plugs with help from the board here (maybe it was you?) and for the life of me, I could not find those damn plugs! Then it dawned on me it must be under this red thing.
This is where I thought this poster was coming from.
Good show on the instructions!
BTW .......I did a tour of the Saab presentations on MSN's Carpoint, claiming to be THE most influential car-buying site online. I must say, those people who took the time to write up their Saabs (1999 and on up) were on the whole very complimentary. If this is any indication, we have a terrific future with this car. Maybe even get the resale up a tad!
Now, I realize people generally like to support choices they make with their money, but among Euro car owners, who can be quite caustic, I feel there would bit more tendency to give candid responses.
