These are my observations from my first day with my new 9-3 Convert.
The car has the four available factory installed options: auto trans,
Premium Package, heated seats, metallic paint. Midnight blue body w/
blue top.
Things I Like:
1) Nice, peppy engine especially in Sport mode.
2) Comfortable riding
3) Very comfortable seats
4) Great color combo: blue/blue
5) Like having the radio/Cd button on steering wheel
6) Car gets looks especially with the top down
7) Mechanism to lower/raise top is smooth and quiet
8) All the windows can be opened and lowered with one button
9) The brakes are very good
10) The wind noise and sensation is not all that bad with the top down at highway speeds
11) The mechanical latch that unlocks the top is a joy and very simple to use both to unlatch and latch
Things I Think That Could be Improved:
1) The already infamous center armrest
2) The doors can only be unlocked/locked by reaching 4 inches over your shoulder and pushing up button (am I missing something here?).
3) The window switches belong on the doors where they are easily reachable
4) The rear passengers can use more leg room
5) The steering wheel and dash board shake an awful lot when the car goes over bumps
6) The steering could be a bit faster and more precise
7) The steering wheel should be up/down adjustable and electric would not hurt
8) The memory seats should also reset the sideview mirrors
9) The rear window should be larger
10) The stereo sound is good but could be better
That's my first day analysis of my new car. I am sure I will have
things to add as time goes on.
