Well, it finally happened. After reading about it on this board and wondering how hard you have to hit a pothole to bend a rim, I've found out first hand. It was a deep hole at the end of a freeway exit ramp--ouch.

Now I'm pulling right a bit and the dealer says two wheels are bent. Supposedly the wheels can be straightened out or rerounded rather than replaced. The dealer is asking $200/wheel for that. Has anyone tried to repair rather than replace their bent rims? At that price, I feel I might be better off just getting 2 new wheels.

Any insights are welcomed.
