My comments were supposed to be somewhat "tongue in cheek" with just a hint of making a point. If you think for one minute that the biases of some police officers don't come into play when they're on the job then I've got a Yugo I'll sell you. After all, police officers are part of a larger society, and like the rest of society there are those that are fair and those that are not. Here in Washington, DC, there is an ongoing investigation of hundreds of racist, anti-gay, and sexist e-mails being sent between "professional" police officers using their squad car computers. What disturbs the local community (and elected officials)is how
can we count on people with such extreme biases and prejudices to treat ALL citizens fairly?

So maybe you're the one who should be "more educated" and stop looking at the world through rose colored glasses.
