I rent a lot of Opels in Germany. The current Vectra is a DOG; and a chep ugly peice of junk. The Opel Astra, on the other hand, is a nice little car and a pleasure to drive and to look at. The Opel Vectra in the photos (the Black One parked in what looks like Salzburg), looks fantastic. Just like a scaled-up Astra.

I would buy an Astra any day over any car GM sells in America; it is a real shame that GM does not sell those cars here. They could sell it as it is (maybe change the headlights to USA spec) as an OPEL, not as a Buick or Chevy or Saturn . Just sell it as an Opel Astra and sell it on the internet or through Saab dealers. I gaurantee that they would have a runaway success if they do not mess with the car before bringing it here.

The new Vectra should be nice. It would steal sales from Saab and VW if they sold that car here in the USA. What a waste that new large Saturn is. They should have just brought the new Vectra here.
