The T7 will control air mass flow maximums. So a slight decrease in flow restriction will not create a significant change in performance. The only net effect might be a slight lowering of temperatures of the intake air, but the ECU will still attempt to deliver the same air mass flow rate. Compared to the advantages of a higher flowing IC, the intake tube that you refer to is a minor concern.
If you made other modifications to increase power significantly, then you might look at the intake tube. It is smooth and the transistions are quite gradual, so it might be quite good now. Perhaps better than a pipe with elbows, couplings and clamps.
