I have a '99 9-3 SE HOT that is a little over two years now. It's black with swirl marks up the wazu.
Anyway, I have kept this baby away from all door dingers and obstacles that would leave any permanent dents in the body. I will park it out in BFE at malls just to make sure no one dings it!!!
I had a sad sad day yesterday. I was driving my company Ford Explorer. I usually have it parked next to my Saab to keep others away from it. In my opinion the company truck get dinged up for all I care. Anyways, I was coming back from some business and getting out of the Ford when a strong gust of wind ripped the door from my hand and slammed it right into the unblemished side of my Saab!!!!! :(
I couldn't believe this luck. I'm still grinding my teeth about it. The hit was so hard that it knocked my mirror forward and left a nice sized DING on my passangers side door. :( There is a little bit of paint damage too.
I was following the thread about paintless repair (or something like that). I had a question of how they repair the damage? How do they do it? What does it normally cost?
Any help, insight, and sympathy would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks,
TB
