Yes, that's a reasonable price. Posted by Nick [Email] (#227) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Nick) on Fri, 3 Aug 2001 15:48:59 In Reply to: Service Schedule, Dean M, Thu, 2 Aug 2001 22:28:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've seen prices range from $105 to $210. Calling around for quotes really pays.
While you could do most of the things on your own (oil change, tire rotation etc.) it is a good idea to have the 10k, 20k, 30k and other factory set maintainances done by the dealer as they can (should) check for service bulletin/warranty items that may be in affect. It also safeguards you should any warranty items go bad as you'll have the Saab maint. stamp to show that you followed Saab's recommendations. Some dealers can be touchy about this if problems arise.
I bring in my own oil, Mobil1, and they deduct $15 from the bill. Not necessary, but I've been using it in my Saabs for over 10 years.
regards.
