Follow-up question to lease return

I can see that some unscrupulous finance companies will try to charge for everything considered excessive wear/tear or damage per the lease contract (although it appears Chase allows for $1,500 of chargable items as an allowance, at least per a document they sent to me. I did not have the same allowance with my last Nissan, but they charged me nothing and all I did was change the oil for 36 months and change the air and fuel filter once per year.)
However, I am still curious if anyone has returned a SAAB at the end of a lease and been charged fees for not performing the recommended maintenance per the manufacturer's recommendations.
I would think that if the car operates properly and is in good running order, you could not be charged for something like this.
Anyway, anyone have any experience with being charged a fee for not performing maintenance to SAAB recommended specs upon returning their car at lease end?
Thanks.
Clovis
