Many readers would not know that 1/2 second is a big deal. Numerically it sounds insignificant. So some might think this trivial.
At high CFMs your connection will lead to boost droop. A connection over by the bypass valve would provide better 0-60 times. Mine is after the intercooler core.
So will air box mods & K&N. You would also find the throttle body transition casting rework very interesting. That is easy to do, but will take some time... quality time :)
Saab Sports exhaust would be helpful as well, but that requires $300 to $450 depending on where you get it or self install etc. If your stock exhaust happens to rot out, it is a no brainer!
If you do any of these, it will be interesting to see you new elapsed times. Unfortunately, turbos are very weather sensitive and it will be hard to get similar conditions. Perhaps you can establish a new baseline for a before and after. It would be good to have another Saab with a stock transion casting and do some swap runs.
