I have the large key fob (banana) transmitter and I realized as soon as I looked at the ignition that scratching from keys other then the ignition key itself would be a problem. I only keep one other key on my key ring, it is for my roof rack. I placed it inside a piece of clear plastic tubeing with a slit going 3/4 the way up on either side the tube. The key is inside the tube with the key ring passes through the tube and the key. This way only the plastic rubs the dash and it is still very easy to use the roof rack key. Work well, but not if you have more a then a couple of extra keys on the ring.
