Driving north on interstate 55 in Illinois this Sunday, the weather is beautiful, cruise set at 75 mph (try very, very hard NOT to exceed the posted speed limits lately, husband says one more speeding ticket and it's a Hyundai for me...YIKES!!!), great tunes in the CD player....in the rear view mirror I see a BMW approaching very fast, he passes me (an older 3 series), his trunk is tied down with rope and I see a dog cage and a bag of IAMS dog food in the back!!! He can't even fit a cage and a bag of dog chow in his trunk!!! I'm laughing and say out loud, to myself, should of gotten a Saab buddy! I know I shouldn't, but I speed up to pass him with a HUGE grin on my face!

A few miles down the road, I stop at a rest area, when I return to my car, Mr. BMW is parked right next to me. He gets out of his car and says, "Nice car." I smile and say, "Thanks." Now, this next part just kind of happened, I didn't plan on saying this, but I guess I just couldn't help myself, I say, with a grin, "You've GOT to LOVE a car that can carry tons of cargo, and the hatch STILL shuts." He says, "Yeah, but it's NOT a BMW." I say, "I know....and that's the BEST part!" I smile, get in the car and drive away....never to see him again, THANK GOD!!!

I know it probably wasn't the "safest" thing to do while traveling alone, but like I said, I just couldn't help myself... :)

Anyway, just another reason why I LOVE my Saab!!
