bad or it have come loose from the bracket and is laying too close to the radiator. Have you had any bodywork done to the front end? sometimes the sensor gets forgotten when they put the car back together.
If you remove the grill and look in the very center of bumper, it should be two wires just below bumper frame with a black sensor in the end.
