I've the same car(3-dr) but I got used to the turbo power very soon.
Becoz the auto stick will kick down "suddenly" (eventually, you'll know when), plus the torque kicks in so soon, you could have tire spin during cornering.
Unless you've a 4 wheel drive, you're bound to have these limitation with FWD + good amount of torque.
Solution of some sort:
-Better tires, in summer, I've 17x7 Yoko Z rated tires.
-Lower springs, I've Abott's.
-The more important thing is to know when to accel. The torque kicks in just about 2K rpm, so you should time it an allow the car jump OUT of a corner, not when you're car is still cornering. It's easy, and it is also the price of an auto stick.
