I think I know what you mean. Mine makes a groaning noise (metal on metal) when it tilts up and down and it has a vibration when it is sliding open. I'm thinking that it probably just needs to be lubricated and/or tightened/adjusted (this is actually a line item on the service schedule for the 10K service). Since it is mid-Dec and I live in upstate NY, I'm going to put it off until the next service since I won't be using it much this time of year. If it were summer time I would have had them look at it by now. :-)
