when I had an MBC in my 9-3, when I wanted to disconnect it I would usually guess wrong when installing the hoses on the BPC. When I had it backwards the boost would only barely go into the yellow, but when I got it right it would go to right where it is supposed to. So you can just try it as, in my experience, there should be no harm done if you get it backwards.
