Do new Saab turbos need cool-down time?

I have read that turbo-equipped cars should be allowed to idle for a few minutes before shutting the engine off, particularly after hard or fast driving. Otherwise, according to the theory, the hot turbo will bake engine oil and ultimately clog the intakes, leading to a broken turbo system.
Has Saab solved this problem in its new cars? Do I need to let my Viggen idle before shutting it off? Or does Saab's special semi-synthetic oil effectively resist the high turbo temperatures?
