Hirsch still does not do US spec ecu programs. As far as I know, I still have the only US spec 9-3 with a Hirsch ecu upgrade. I got mine by taking my car down to St. Gallen and Hirsch writing me a custom program. Their existing programs are for Euro spec cars that have only one oxygen sensor. US spec cars are OBD II compliant which means they have two O2 sensors. If you were to get a Euro spec program, you would get a permanent CHECK ENGINE light! You can't use the program that they now have on file for my car since I have a 99 9-3S.

Its too bad that they don't do stateside stuff as their work is very impressive. My car is now 238 hp and 338 nm torque with just 13 psi of boost. Most other tuners take the 2.0 ltr 9-3's to 20 psi and get similar results! All of their other products are top quality stuff also. Hopefully in the near future they will bring their stuff to the US, as I think they could do very good there.
