year. Some years you have to give the clear button a light press to confirm that you have "read the message". Then you press and hold the clear button for about 30 sec until "service" comes up on the display.

But on 01 cars you have to push the + button ( I think) until you reach the outdoor temp screen and from there press and hold the clear button until "service" comes up on the SID display.
