Mine comes on most times, but other times it doesn't come on at all. This MAY be because there is an inference that you have to have the radio in the same position for 10 minutes (I can find it in the owner's manual, once I retrieve my owner's manual). This doesn't make sense to me, but I do find that switching from CD to Radio or vice versa shortly before getting to work seems to cause the problem. You can adjust the volume (see owner's manual) for startup, but it doesn't make any difference.
