Awesome NorCal Drive This Weekend

Entire family was out of town and took the opportunity for a 3-hour ride through Stinson Beach and Point Reyes. Top down, 70 degrees and sunny. Awesome drive up 1. I sometimes bitch and moan about the Viggen's rigidity and think that maybe I should have gone with the BMW, But the Viggen took me through hairpin turns without a single complaint. I had 20-30 minutes of driving without traffic through switchbacks, and this car never ever complained. It felt so neutral to me, and no matter how hard I pushed, this baby could take more. I couldn't push it enough to upset it. I did most of the driving in 2nd gear, which gets me close to 60 without too much discomfort. Occasional 3rd gear, I am a wimp. This car is awesome if you push it and when you drive it hard. Maybe I'm a crummy driver ... who knows. But, this weekend proved this car was worth every penny. Oh, and on the trip I saw tons of BMW's, some 9-3's, and one viggen (from the inside).
I can't believe how neutral this car felt in those turns, and it really felt like I was on rails. It pulled nicely out of turns with a lot of oomph. Torque steer never came into play either because there were tight turns and the torque steer pulled me out in the direction I wanted to go, or like I said I could be a crummy driver and didn't push hard enough.
Awesome.
Anyone car to join me next time?
