safest means of adding power, but if the T5 Trionic is so "smart" why can't it compensate for a "dumb" valve? It cannot reduce the boost, except when the BPC is included in the installment of the MBC (which is the way that I have it now), but the T5 can increase fuel, retard timing, and if the boost gets too high, cut spark. So making a broad statement that MBC are safe/not safe I don't think is correct and needs further research. I think it depends on how you have it installed and the vigor at which you maintain and inspect your car.
