I installed the Motorola StarTac Professional hands-free kit in my car recently. The StarTac kit doesn't mute the radio, but turning down the radio when the phone rings is hardly inconvinient. It charges the phone while the car's on, automatically shuts the phone off and turns it on with the ignition, and I get great reception without any kind of external antenna. I installed it myself, and mounted the speaker under the glove compartment and the microphone under the cigarette lighter (probably not the best place, but it works). It all hooked up very easily with Saab's cell-phone wiring harness, and only took me a couple of hours. I attached the included cradle to the Saab 9-3 small cell-phone mount. Now if you're lucky enough to have a Motorola V60, it does mute the radio. There's even a little gizmo I found on the internet that sends out a mute signal when it senses the extra power draw of a cell-phone in use.
