Saab roadside assistance and Saab tire iron

I called Saab Roadside Assistance last night after I got a flat tire on a dark, windy road in the middle of nowhere Tennessee and my tire iron was stripped! I couldn't believe that it woldn't turn the lugs!
Anyhow, I didn't have the number with me so I had to make a collect call back to someone with Internet acces who could find the number. They found it on a GM page.
They logged it is a Priority call since I was on a dark windy road and quoted me about 1.5 hours. It was almost exactly that long until the guy and his wife got there. He had a universal tire iron that worked. The piece of crap Saab tool goes in the trash today.
Basically, Saab roadside assistance was like AAA. In fact, the guy who helped me handles most AAA calls in his area.
My cell phone was out of service area, I didn't have the roadside assist number with me, and I was freezing cold, and the first payphone I hiked to was out of order. Besides that, it worked out well. Tip: Keep the number with you and make sure your tire tool is in good shape. I NEVER would've thought to look! -JerryC
