This is not intended to be a negative comment but have you had similar experiences with cars in the past? You seem to be really focused on mechanical issues with your car. This is not a bad thing, however, it can become obsessive to the point where you look for problems and not enjoy driving the car. I had this happen to me when I got bought my 900 used and it came with bent wheels, after a while I started thinking about other things that could go wrong and actually started thinking they were. After a while I got over it as it is only a swedish piece of metal and there is more to life than dispute clunks and binks cars can make.

What are your past experiences with cars?
