" Corporate Exec." car is dealer lingo for a car just bought at an auction----dealers claim no specific knowledge of their history. Some were company exec. cars, some were re-posessed (either buyer default or LEMON), and some were rental cars. Some were in accidents and were rebuilt. Dealers don't want to say "auction" car, so they make it sound classy and call it a corporate exec car.
That being said, I have bought two of these auction cars, each with 10K miles, from a dealer, with no history available. The first, a 1997 900SE, I sold with 95K miles and no problems. I now have a 99 9-3 conv., with 30K miles now and no problems.
I would have an independent auto body shop look at it for evidence of a crash/rebuild (they can ALWAYS tell), and run a carfax report on it. If ok, then go for it. A viggen was not a rental car, the car is so rock solid reliable and 6K miles, even if driven hard, is prob. no big deal. Also get an IMMEDIATE oil change as soon as you get it, as it is unlikely to have ever had one regardless of what the dealer says...
