I have driven many GM vehicles and find that dodge does a superior job in programming. Dodges downfall is their trannies rob a lot of hp.
In an 01 Malibu, the trans was horrible. If you squeazed it a little to get up a hill, it would either downshift or release the lock up and rev to 3500 to 4000 rpm. The dodge's rarely rev past 3000 at cruise out of lock up and downshift at the very end of the pedal throw and rarely hunt for a gear.
Seriously, between the two, I couldn't wait to get home into the dodge, it was that annoying. Now I just prefer the SAAB over all.
