a SAAB Service Rep. would say THAT---
I guess in a perfect world, there is no problem. In most repair centers, ANYTHING is possible.
If your motor got screwed-up because of a loose bolt or something falling into it during the repair, hey, SAAB--the manufacturer, would be back on the hook to fix it.
A good mechanic can change out a (I presume yours leaks a bit) head gasket with no problems.
TG's recommendation: Change the oil 1,000 miles after the job is performed, and go through a 1,000 mile "break-in" type of driving--yep EASY on the throttle for the first 1,000 miles AT LEAST !!
Motor should be fine. So should you.
