Hi,
I posted this earlier, but it got over shadowed by the NG 9³. Thanks for reading again. ;)
My current programming is the driver door unlocks with the removal of the key. The passenger side is completely manual except when the drivers door is closed and you move the the drivers lock tab manually, then both doors operate together.
With 'european' mode, I am being told that the both doors will unlock with the removal of the key, but the alarm will not arm if you lock the doors from outside with the key in the door, and if you lock the car with the remote, should the remote be damaged (say by soaking in water) the alarm cannot be disarmed by using the key in the door. So, arming and disarming with the key in the door is not possible.
Funny too, that they didn't mention the fact that panic wouldn't work.
Do you folks agree?
Thanks,
tony
