I just used the stuff recommended from Renovo!

I purchased a cleaner, the black stuff, and the waterproof sealer.

This stuff is great! I e-mail the guy and he recommended the above products from my car. Here is a little of my experience.

From the recommendation, I ordered all three items: Dry-Cleaner Shampoo, Soft- Top Reviver, and Ultra Proofer. It seemed strange, but all three products came shipped seperately... but not a big deal.

Before I started, I got some large painters tarps! THIS IS REALLY HELPFUL! I unlatched the top and started opening it so the back piece of the top opened about 1'. I then placed one of the thin plastic tarps under it so I would protect the back of the car from any spills. I then placed another tarp that covered from the front hood of the car up-to the hindge of the convertible top. Then close the top and seal the windows tightly and now the car is well protected if any over-spill occurs.

Step 1: Use the Dry-Cleaner Shampoo. This stuff is suposted to get out the dirt from the top. In my personal opinion, I don't think it did anything because all you do is spray it on and let it dry. OK... it gets the dirt out, but it then dries on top. I would not purchase this stuff next time I do it. I would just clean the top like normal with car soap and water.

Step 2: Apply the Soft- Top Reviver. This stuff is like a liquid shoe polish and hides all of the discolorations in the top. I had a few from wear and sun, but nothing really that noticable. When applying the product, I did not want to run out, so I used it sparingly... this was my first mistake. When it dried, it became obviouse that some spots were not as coverd as others.... I then reapply the remaining product and it was perfect. I would recommend the larger bottle and apply the stuff liberally on the top! This way you can get it right the first try and not worry about finishing off the bottle with only 1/2 of the top finished.

Step 3: Ultra Proofer. Using my experience from the last step... I applied the Ultra Proofer very liberally... in fact I drenched the top! I used the smaller bottle and it was plenty to cover the top completely. This is a milky white liquid that gets applied like the above with a 2" paint brush. This step was really easy!

Now... the car's top is like breand new! It looks GREAT! I have a co-worker that drives the exact same car and year... and I parked next to her yesterday... and the difference in the top is unbelievable! Her's looks washed out compaired to mine! :-)

Best of luck... and let me know if you have any questions... I will be happy to help!
