Congratulations. From other purchase numbers mentioned in this site, I suspect you got a pretty good deal, particularly if it's in the condition you suggest.
The Saab audio electronics are electronically "married" to the car, and must be "unmarried" before they can be removed and put into another Saab. This applies to Saab's trunk mounted CD-changer - there's no known after-market unit that's equivalent to the official Saab unit. Hence, you're basically at the dealer's mercy - remember, even the factory unit must be married to the car. That said, if CD's are your source of music, I'd suggest you look around for one of the Saab in-dash CD players. Hopefully, one of those might be less expensive and an acceptable alternative. I find that it's not a real hassle to change a disk periodically.
For upgrades, most people have suggested the Saab performance exhaust system as one of the first steps.
