Power wise you have a few options, it just depands on how much money you would like to spend.

First, there are a few do it yourself mods that can be done very cheap. Do a search for modding the air box inlet to a 3" tube. Also, you can smooth out the throttle body transition casting which has a large step that creates turbulence and hampers flow. These mods won't give you a large power increase but will smooth out the power and help the turbo spool up a bit quicker.

For a larger power increase you can raise boost pressure which will raise horsepower and torque significantly. This can be done in two ways. You can get a manual boost controller which can be had for $35+shipping from Dawes Devices or you can go for a upgraded ECU from any number of companies which can give you more boost and power while also improving the fuel and ignition curves as well. These are more expensive though, they range from $500 to around $1000.

A few other things that can be done are a larger downpipe and race catalytic converter, and perhaps an open filter but still cold air intake. One other thing is water injection which allows much higher boost pressures to be run without knocking.

Do some searches here and on the performance board, there is a ton of info to be had.
