I just installed X- Drilled rotors from Eeuroparts. they are not 'no-name" they are Zimmerman rotors. i have had many Zimmerman rotors before and a few of my VW friends have them on their VWs (X-driled as well).
I have had no problems with them yet (they are still failry new), braking power seems to be all there. My driving conditions are 30+ mile commute 2x a day where traffic will no doubtedly go from 70+ mph to a dead panic like stop for unknown reasons many times a trip, (Yes I try alternate routes) :)
i have not felt any brake fad/noise or anything yet. As for now, the ammount of brake dust on my wheels per weeks looks about the same as before w/o the xdrilled rotors, maybe slightly more. I am using the OEM Pagid pads, I wouldn't mind something with less brake dust. Wish PBR made some for the 9-3, I had those on my SPG and loved them. So yeah, I like, but it's up to you
Oh yeah, they looks groovy too!! :)
