Torn between keeping my '99 9-3 or getting the new '03

The lease comes up on my 1999 9-3 in February. I am so torn, I don't know whether to turn it in for the new 9-3, or to keep it. Also, I'm worried if I drive the new 9-3 in October and like it, that will make my decision even harder. :( I'm also pondering some mods for my current 9-3.
Here is my reasoning regarding each car:
My '99 9-3:
-Hatchback and classic SAAB style
-I'm emotionally attached to it
-Cheaper to keep it, and do some mods (suspension, larger wheels, etc)
-I've taken amazing care of it, and its been reliable
-The thought of someone else driving my SAABrina bothers me.
BUT
-Its an automatic, I really wanted a stick
-rattles, minor pains in the a$$, how long will it last?
-Is that damn air distribution knob going to break again?
New '03 9-3:
-More modern car, ie better built, safer, better chassis, etc
-I'd get a stick
BUT
-Looks ok, but not like a SAAB to me
-Seems like it will be pretty common, I know of a lot of people, who have said they really want one, after seeing pics.
Ahhhh, I dunno what to do.
Anyway, here are some pics of my 99 9-3:
